Did you know that what we eat can have an impact on our brain health? Our brain weighs approximately 3 pounds and it is 60 percent fat. Our brain uses 20 percent of our fuel to function as the command center in the body. That is why it is so important to feed our brain quality fuel!

Nutrients that feed our brain include Vitamin E, B12 and omega-3s.  Try to include these nutrients in the diet to keep our brains healthy and ready to learn. Remember, the brain loves healthy fats since a majority of the brain is fat.  Do these foods sound tasty to you?  Give them a try!
